It has been a long time since I posted anything on this blog. We finally moved out of the apartment that we rented and bought a single story town home in a very nice neighborhood. Living in the apartment was ok for two years but they kept raising the rent. Our mortgage is less than our rent and we have a much nicer, larger place.
I'm still working retail and TC took on a part time retail job. Working retail is ok, except for the holidays. basically the months of November and December you have no life whatsoever except work. I'm hoping that this year our job situation will change.
Last Wednesday my daughter gave birth to beautiful baby boy. He weighed 7.6 pounds and was 20 1/2 inches long. She had a difficult labor and ended up having an emergency cesarean.
Baby and mommy are fine. I took some time off work to stay with her and help her out. She is very sore and tired, but improving each and every day.
I don't mind telling you that after spending time with Jacob and my daughter I'm finding it very difficult staying away from them. This little baby has a way of stealing my heart.
I'm not sure how often I'll be posting on my blog, I'm using TC's computer as mine has died, I will be shopping for a new one soon.
Thanks for reading, life is good.... |

Congratulations! There is nothing like a grandchild to brighten even the gloomiest day! He is a real cutie! I can't get over all the hair!
Hi Gail:
Congratulations on the new arrival! We've checked for new posting and are glad that you two are doing good. We remember the good times we had at Villas Onac. We lost Kasey a couple of years ago and are breaking in a new Golden puppy Murdoch.

Congratulations on the birth of your grandson. Grandchildren are certainly God's gift to us... It sure was nice to see an updated post. We often talk of our winter in Onak and wonder what has become of everyone... good to hear you and TC are doing well. Take care.
