Trees Falling On Campers And Company!

This weekend we have company camping with us.

TC’s daughter, Lisa, her husband, Jim, their son, Jackson and their dog, Floyd  are camping in the lodge behind us. My son, Robbie, his girlfriend, Melissa, my "grand dog", Reed and some friends of theirs are camping on a creek side site in a tent.  My daughter, Michelle, her friend Leah and my "grand dogs" Chance and Harley are camping in one our cabins.

Yesterday evening at around 5:30, a  wicked nasty thunder storm decided to visit us.  The sky turned  black, the wind started to howl and the rain pounded on us like there was no tomorrow. The rain looked like a giant water falls.  The lighting gave us a scary light show in the sky. This went on for about 45 minutes. After the storm I found out that a large tree fell on one of our campers motor home.

No one was hurt and the motor home didn’t look like it had much damage.

This certainly  could have been much worst than it was.

After this nasty storm, the sun came out and it started to rain again.

We had to cancel our cookout. We went to the diner and had a great meal.  Our cookout will be tonight. Hopefully the storms will stay away for a few days.

We are pretty much waterlogged.
We will be having our cookout later tonight………..
Thanks for reading, life is good...............
