During the past few days, life with Soupy has been terrible. All of a sudden Soupy decided that our bed and bedroom was his bathroom. We don't understand why, but we could not live with that. Maybe Soupy had a problem with me working so much or maybe he had more health problems. I'm working 9 hours a day. I came home to a smelly bedroom and TC was busy washing the sheets, blankets and pillows all day, that was it. This happened two nights in a row. TC called the veterinarian that we use and they have a cat rescue program. We are guaranteed that Soupy will find a good home. Soupy needs a home where he is the only pet and a home where his master is home most of the day. We love Soupy and will miss him.
We dropped Soupy off yesterday morning. I cried all the way to work. Man oh man, why did this have to happen, I loved that little goofy fur ball. I will never forget his face as we walked out the door. So very sad................

Sorry to hear that you had to find a new home for Soupy. Soupy sure was a cutie. Hopefully a good home will be found.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that, but you did the right thing. I had to give up a cat I'd had a couple years for the same reason. No idea why she suddenly started that after so long, but .... My vet advised that the best way to retrain her was a change of environment. I got some feedback from the new home that she was doing beautifully with them.
Good luck to Soupy and peace to you.
I have been thinking about doing the same thing all morning. Every time I have to clean up a runny bowel movement, I am having second thoughts about a Puppy, but we have decided to give it a good try and see if we can get him on a routine of eating, walking, and pooing outside and not everywhere he can find a spot in here. Our case is a little different, because we can be with him all day.
Sorry to hear Soupy had to leave for a new home. Very sad.
Hey you tryed and thats all you can do. Hang in there.
I feel sad too. Soupy gave you so much pleasure.
Blessings
I am sure he will find another good home.
So sorry that you had to find Solpy a new home. It is so hard when you get attached to a pet. We were having problems with Whiskey and leaking, but she is a dog and an old one at that, but we had pads that she would sleep on. We now have her on a pill that stops the leaking and it has been working. I am glad because we were washing sheets and blankets a lot as well.
Soupy is a real cutie and I am sure she will find a good home.
