She's A He!

We took Soupy to the vets today and found out it's a boy.  I guess I didn't look close enough. Soupy had a rabies vaccine, a dewormer and drops for his ear. He goes back next week for some feline tests. Once all of the tests come back that he is OK, we are out of the woods.

The vet did say that little Soupy is very lucky to be alive.  We took the soup can that was stuck on Soupy's head with us to show the veterinarian, he couldn't believe it. This new veterinarian seems real nice. I noticed that he was working alone and told him if he thought he needed a secretary to call me. Woudn't that be a great winter job?

We usually go the the animal hospital in Hagerstown, they are great.  They couldn't see Soupy until next week and we had to find someone sooner. The animal hospital is also very expensive.
Jodie is getting use to the kitten, she is starting to take over her spot on the dash. It looks like everything will be just fine!

The pictures are just me sitting outside at night playing around with my camera.

Good to see Soupy survived the sex change and is in good shape, Not being a cat person I wouldn't know but I know when we brought Rigg's home there was no mistaking him for a girl, as he proudly displayed all the male parts for everyone to see. When I was a kid in my family cats were strictly barn animals and not allowed in the house, very few dogs ever passed the front door either, but I guess when you raise 4 boys and a girl in a 3 bedroom house space was at a premium. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna.

Nice to have found a great vet, and a cheaper one to boot! I bet "He" (Soupy) will become a dear friend to Jodie.

Nice pics, especially that second one.
