Good News For Soupy!

The doctor called about Soupy today and his test was negative for feline leukemia and feline aids.  Yay, I'm so glad he is OK. He is such a happy cat, he is always purring.  I often wonder why cats purr and this is what I found out: The original function of purring was to enable a kitten to communicate with his mother that things are well. A kitten is able to purr by the second day of life, and although he can't meow and nurse at the same time, he can purr and nurse. And the mother cat often purrs back, probably to reassure the kitty.

A beautiful sunset

It poured down rain all day yesterday and last night. Today we would have about 20 minute's of sunshine and then 20 minute's of rain. It was a very strange day. One of our fellow workers asked for today off, so TC and I are working both shifts. It was a long day, but we love our job.

Glad to hear Soupy's o.k.! Interesting story about 'purring' too, I never knew that.

Good news for little Soupy. Never knew that information on purring. I've never owned a cat. Hope your weather clears up.

Maybe the same thing with kneading?

Rigg's never purr's he just gives you a big sloppy lick when he is feeling contented and wants to show his love for you, but then again he is a big dog, so I can't be surprised he doesn't act like a cat.Be safe out there. Sam & Donna.
