Sandy sure did come in with all her furry! It poured down rain like crazy and the winds were pretty scary. A few trees fell, but no damage was done. We were very lucky and didn’t lose electric. I’m glad we still have electric, so many people lost it and it is on the cold side out there.
After coming back from my vacation, I was excited about going back to work. I went in at 8:00 on Monday and the mall closed for the day because of the storm and the possible chance of losing electric. Tuesday the mall opened at noon, but we were flooded in. I'm scheduled to go in at one this afternoon, hopefully the water will go down and the road will be safe to travel on.
I’m so ready to go back to work, I spent the past two days, cooking and baking. That means I’m going to taste everything that I make. I’m not the kind of person to sit around and watch TV, I always have to be doing something.
The house is clean, the fridge is full and the laundry is done , look out work, here I come!
