Working Here At The Campground!

I love working here at the campground.  I love the people, my co-workers and everything about this paradise.

This week has been a stressful one at JC Penney’s.  The JC Penney’s company is going through many changes.  I’m not so sure all of these changes are good changes, but I'm not the new CEO and can't do anything about them.

I went to work Monday to find out that 2 managers and 2 supervisors were laid off.  The whole store was in a state of shock.

Lots of tears were falling and everyone was so sad.
When you work at the same place for a long time we all become one big happy family.

I feel like I'm on celebrity apprentice. Every day when I go to work, I'm afraid of hearing those famous worlds---" Gail you're fired!"

I pray that my friends will find happiness and prosperity in the very near future.

We have some wonderful things for sale here in the camp store.
Our little camp store sells, souvenirs, camping supplies,  greeting cards, groceries, candy, tee shirts, sweat shirts, toys, games, handed dipped ice cream, coffee, slushies and so much more.

The weather is almost summer like this week. Last week Mr. Winter came back for a short visit. Hopefully that will be the end of him for a while.

I hung my hummingbird feeder out yesterday evening. I looked out the window this morning when I got up and sure enough, there was a  little hummingbird sitting on the feeder having breakfast! Isn't life wonderful?

Thanks for reading, life is good.............

So thankful I never had to work in retail. The restaurant business was close enough, but there I was the manager. I fired myself eventually and moved on to a job where I didn't have to work all those crazy hours.
Enjoy your park. It sounds like fun.

Employee cut backs are never easy. For a number of years, I was the guy who had to often deliver the bad news. It is a terrible job when you have to tell good employees that they are no longer needed.
