Losing Wisdom!

I had Yesterday off and went to Pasadena, to spend some time with my son Robbie.

Robbie had all four of his wisdom teeth cut out. OUCH!  I thought I could be of some help.  I took him to the pharmacy to get his pain medication filled.  After going to the pharmacy, Robbie was hungry, so we went to a local ice cream place called “The Daily Scoop”.

The Daily Scoop is a locally owned ice cream parlor and specialty store. With 145 different flavors in rotation from basic vanilla and cookie dough to original flavors such as coconut chip, this shop also sells Italian ices, ice cream cakes and pies. Everything served at The Daily Scoop is made fresh on the premises.  WOW I got to taste some of the flavors and ordered  a scoop of some kind of super duper chocolate (not sure of the name).  It was Absolutely the best ice cream ever!  Robbie was able to “eat” a chocolate milk shake, he is not allowed to use a straw for 48 hours.

After eating the ice cream, we took Robbie’s dog, Reed out for a long walk.  Robbie and his girlfriend, Melissa live on the Magothy river.  They are surrounded by water and our walk was a beautiful one.

When Melissa came home from work, we all went out to dinner. Robbie recommended the “Double T Dinner” so he could order some scrambled eggs and mashed potatoes with gravy.  Melissa and I ordered panini sandwiches and a couple of ice cold Corona’s to drink.  The food and company was great.

Robbie made out real good, he didn’t swell up much and had very little pain and is still as wise and cute as ever! He should be able to eat a normal diet tomorrow.
I always have a great time with Robbie, Melissa and their dog Reed.

Thanks for reading, life is good..........

Poor guy.

I recall that I didn't get chipmunky for a couple of days. Of course, that was in the century before this one - who can remember?

The Double T!! We've been many times over the years we lived in Howard County. I love reading your blog because it gives me a little dose of home. Thanks.

Glad things went well for Robbie! That's alot to go through at one time. I am sure the wisdom is still there along with a very nice smile!!
