Today was another nice day. It was not quite as warm as yesterday and the day before , but the sun was out and it was not freezing cold.
Jodie and I thought it would be a great afternoon to go walking. We both jumped in the car and drove a few minutes to the C & O Canal.
The C & O Canal National Park is right here in Willamsport MD. This park is a great place to walk, ride bikes, jog, go fishing, horseback riding or just having a pleasant afternoon.
The parking lot was full. People like me, were just wanting to get outside and enjoy nature.
Jodie and I walked for an hour and a half. We will both sleep well tonight.

We had a great walk and captured some pictures along the way.
After all of that walking, we came home for an evening of watching the NFL football playoffs and eating yummy leftover chicken noodle soup and toasty rolls.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are playing the the Denver Broncos. Being a Baltimore Ravens fan, we want the Squeelers, oops, I mean Steelers to lose.
Go Broncos….
I have to get up bright and early with the chickens first thing in the morning and go to work.
Isn’t life wonderful?

We enjoyed the park while we lived in Maryland. Thanks for the look back.
Oh, wow. My sister used to live right on the Potomac River and Canal at Sharpesburg. We used to love walking along the tow path.
