Yesterday all of the Maryland state Parks closed and most of the campgrounds on the east coast closed. Campers who were camping in these parks had to leave. Our phone at the campground screamed at us all day. Usually the weekend before Labor Day is a very slow weekend. Irene brought us some great business! Our "Remember When" diner was busy for dinner last night and again for breakfast this morning.
So far we haven't had any rain or wind. It is cloudy and dreary looking but that's about all.

This weekend is princess and pirate weekend here at the campground. We have many fun activities going on. Hopefully the weather will continue to be gentle and kind. As far as I'm concerned, Irene can keep east!
We shall see what tomorrow will bring........
