Yesterday I went to visit my mom. We always have a good time when are together. It was my first day off in a long time and I enjoyed every minute of it. We went to the mall to meet my sister for lunch and did some shopping. Mom helped me pick out a swim suit.
I came back the the campground, put the swim suit on and jumped into the pool. It was 99 degrees out.

After dinner, Jodie and I walked down to the creek to look at the baby ducks. Jodie really doesn't like the heat so we are taking many shorter walks instead of 2 long ones.
Today is going to be much cooler than yesterday, with
30% chance of precipitation. After two days of extreme heat, I guess we could use some rain.
It's back to work today, I hope everyone enjoys the weekend!

Glad to hear it's cooling down just a bit. Still warm enough for a nice long swim though.
Those ducks and ducklings look so pretty. I wish you could send some of that heat our way. Our last two days weren't too bad but today we are hitting about 41F, Kevin even had to turn the furnace on.

Glad you were able to spend some time with your mom on your off day. Hey...it's just too hot out for almost anything outdoors. Hope you enjoyed the swim.
