My Car Looked Like A Giant Popsicle!

The weatherman was right. We woke up to a frozen wonderland. My car did look like a giant Popsicle. The doors were frozen shut and the road was like a frozen lake. (I guess I should count my blessings, the weather is much worst in other places).   Happy first day of February! I'm so glad I didn't have to go to work today, it's not much fun driving on the ice.

TC and I like to watch movies on these cold nasty days. I would love some suggestions. What is your favorite movie of all time? TC's favorite movie of all time is The Deer Hunter with Robert De Niro and  Christopher Walken. I have a lot of favorites. I love the movie I Am Sam with Sean Penn. Jodie's favorite movie is Santa Paws. There is a little video store in town and the movie rentals are very reasonable.

I'm taking advantage of my day off and cooking a turkey dinner. (Our motor home smells like Thanksgiving) I love the leftovers. Sometimes when I'm working at night, it's good for TC to have yummy leftover turkey to make a sandwich. It looks like a big pot of turkey noodle soup later this week.

Tomorrow is another day..............

I want MORE details about cooking a turkey in the RV! How big was it? Did it fit in the oven?

Merikay, I bought a Butterball turkey (9lbs). I cook it in an oven bag in our Microwave/convection oven. It works out pretty good.

So, did you stick a wooden 2X4 out the trunk so it really looked like a popsicle?
