Here We Go Again!

Mr. Winter is defiantly showing his ugly face again! We are going to get an ice storm. It seems to me that after everyone went out to stock up on milk, bread and toilet paper they came to the mall. I sold a steam cleaner, a rice cooker a coffee maker and many drapes.  I guess when they are iced in they can eat rice drink coffee, clean their house and hang up new drapes.

Jodie running on the beach in Teacapan Mexico ( a few years ago)
I bet Jodie would love to be back on that beach! She and I use to walk everyday on that beach. We are walking on ice and snow these days.

A beautiful sunflower in our backyard at our old home in Mexico
Just looking at this sunflower makes me feel warm and cozy. We planted all of these sunflowers in our yard and the birds use to go crazy eating the seeds! One of the things I loved about living in Mexico were the beautiful birds.

Now that I had my nice moment remembering my life in paradise, it's time to get back to reality. Right now it is snowing and sleeting. Maybe tomorrow Jodie and I will go out and build an ice castle!

That's funny that people flock to the mall before and during a storm. We always used to say that it was interesting that no one could get to school or to work, but they could all get to the mall. I'm surprised to hear that so many people are buying drapes during a storm, though! Maybe it's because you are such a good saleswoman. :)

I can see a book coming out of your time at Penney's on the strange habits of shoppers.

Stay warm!

Interesting. I sure wouldn't think of buying drapes in a storm. :)
