The Cold, Biting Wind!

Today is a very cold windy day. It actually hurts to be outside. I hate being in a motor home when it is this windy out. We are having wind gusts up to 45 mph!

I have the day off and I'm staying inside doing chores.  I do pop into the camp store/office everyday to check on phone messages. I had a few calls to return today and ended up taking a few reservations. Yesterday was the last day for the huge sale at my store in the mall. Once again we were very busy. I'm having a good time working in the drapery department. I still have a lot to learn, but I'm learning new things everyday. Window treatments can be complicated. We have so many products to offer and I need to know about each and everyone of them. It will take time but I'm determined.

I miss this little guy.........

Yesterday on my way to work, I stopped by the Veterinarians office  to pick up some heart guard medicine for Jodie. Lisa, the lady that adopted Soupy works there. I asked Lisa how Soupy was doing and she said after a few bad weeks, Soupy is doing great. Apparently Soupy didn't like her husband, and would attack him. Lisa was thinking about putting Soupy on Prozac. She had the prescription for the Prozac but wanted to wait until after her granddaughter would spend the weekend with them. Soupy fell in love with the granddaughter and the little girl just loved Soupy, it's like the little girl changed Soupy's attitude. After the weekend visit with the granddaughter, Soupy is a changed cat. He is now a happy cat living with a wonderful family. I'm so happy to hear this great news. Isn't life great?

I love hearing that kind of happy ending!! I'm so glad for Soupy!

And wind .... Me, too. Of all the elements of weather, I think I hate wind most. I'm having it here, too. Batten down!
