Frost On The Pumpkins!

It was 28 degrees when I woke up this morning, brr.
I knew winter was coming, but 28 degrees first thing in the morning sure was an eye opener. We did have a heavy frost. I didn't want to get out of my warm bed.

The other day when Robbie, Melissa and I went to walk the  C & O Canalwe saw some of the colorful trees. The trees are losing their leaves fast. Pretty soon they will look cold, naked and sad.
It is very quiet here at the campground. Don and Carol (our workamping friends) packed up their fifth wheeler yesterday and left. They  are headed to Texas for a new workamping adventure. We enjoyed working with them and will miss them.  Hi Carol and Don, we miss you!
Workamping is a great way to meet people and make friends. When we work for the season at a KOA we are like one big happy family. When the season is over and everyone packs up to go on to the next campground, it's sad.
Sometimes workampers return to the same campground, but most of the time workampers like to travel and work at different campgrounds.  Workamping is a great way to travel and see the country.

Nice to see fall colours, compared to the bland desert of southern Baja (Loreto)

We have had a few rainy cool nights here this fall, but it will be in the high 70's tomorrow. Crickets are all still sining!
