The Columbus Day Weekend!

just a glimpse of some fall colors
Sunday is always the big clean up day for TC.  We had a huge departure list today.  Tomorrow is Columbus Day and we have some campers staying tonight, making it a 3 day weekend. TC always makes sure all of the campsites are clean and ready for the next campers.   After tomorrow we will have some down time until the weekend.

The weekends have been so busy. It will seem like a ghost town here in November. We are open until the first of December and will re-open in March. I'm glad that October is busy, we will miss the busy time when we close. We still have plans on staying here for the winter. We love this campground and want to work here next season. It will be nice to spend the holidays with family. Three and a half months of cold winter weather will be worth it. Perhaps this winter will be a mild one.

some Halloween pinata fun
This is a great place to work and a great place to live. We have been living in our motor home for over 4 years now and have travelled all over the USA and Mexico.  It will be nice to settle down for a bit and enjoy life with our family. Living in our home on wheels gives us a chance to park for as long as we want to. We always have the option to pack up and travel south.

Maryland can be pretty cold like PA. and last year they got clobbered, I to am hoping for a mild winter but up here in the Poconos we are having pretty cold nights already.Be safe out there. Sam & Donna.
