Feeling Numb And Empty Inside

My grandmother passed away this morning.  She died quietly in her sleep and is at peace now. Mammaw was 96 and 1/2 years old.  She has 3 children, 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. She has had a wonderful life and I feel so blessed. We will be celebrating her life with all of our family and friends.

Mammaw, I know you are looking down, smiling because you are loved. We will miss you, and we are so thankful that we had you in our lives. I will forever hold all of the wonderful memories in my heart.

Thanks for reading, life is good................

I'm so sorry for the loss of your Grandmother, Gail. She lived to an amazing age and at least she left peacefully. It's wonderful that she got to enjoy all her children and grandchildren for so many, many years. Take care.

May God's loving arms of comfort embrace you during your time of sadness. She looks like a happy, wonderful woman in the picture, full of wonderful stories and memories which you will cherish forever. I'm sure she was a big part of molding you "into the person you were meant to be."

My deepest condolances go out to you and your family. I can relate to the emptiness and numbness as I lost my 92 year old mother in February. What a remarkable time these folks lived through. :(

Although death can be a sad experience, living until 96 and a half is truly something to smile about. She obviously has lived a beautiful life and has left behind an amazing family. You know she is watching over you and she will forever be missed. Hold those precious memories close to your heart. :)
