The Big Bad Storms Missed Us!

We were all ready for the nasty storms that were predicted. The storms sort of went around us and we were lucky to get a nice rain shower.  Some of the campers that came in told us they went through some very bad weather. One camper told TC that he had to pull off the road and take his camper behind a service station building to get out of the wind. There were power outages all around us.

When you are living in an RV or just travelling in one, you learn to fear storms with high winds, hail or tornado warnings!  I really become frightened when I hear about tornado warnings YIKES!

                 We lucked out again!

Thanks for reading, life is good..............

Glad the storm missed you! I was in a record breaking hail storm last year in Texas. Ugh! It was very scary. :)

I am so glad the bad storms missed you all.
I am with you on the storm fears. You do learn to view them differently than when in a sticks-n-bricks.
You all take care and stay safe!! Hope the rest of the week is a sunny one.

We too have been so lucky with missing the storms all around us, here in Mancos, Colorado. Yesterday, we had some big winds and really heavy rain but even so, it wasn't so bad.

Glad you got missed and those photos are great!

Just joined your site, Reed look's like our Rigg's did when he was that age, your son will have a large and handsome lab by the time he is fully grown, no wonder he wore Jodie out, Rigg's is still all puppy at a year and a half and almost 100 pounds, Look's like you had a great weekend with family , we can't wait to get on the road also. be safe out there.
