We decided that it would be more fun to go to the Dixie Stampede with friends, so we are making plans to go next Friday with Rick and Betty.
Yesterday we got caught up on laundry, cleaning and shopping. After all of the chores were done we went out for a drive. We drove to Pigeon Forge and looked around. TC found some outlet stores, so we went shopping. TC was in need of some new work shoes, and he found just what he liked. We had a nice drive and found some things we would like to do in the future. We had Jodie with us, she is terrified of storms and we didn't want to leave her home alone. She loves to go for rides and being part of the family.
We were lucky, the stormy weather held off until we got home. We had thunder storm warnings all day long, they were calling for flooding, hail, high winds and all of that scary stuff that goes with the warnings. You can see the nasty looking clouds in some of the pictures, we were watching the horrible looking clouds all day. As soon as we got home the sky opened up and it poured. Later in the evening we watch the movie Up In The Air with George Clooney, it was a great movie we really enjoyed it. It's back to work today, our days off seem to go by so fast.

Looks like you really enjoyed your time off and that is a good thing.... I agree something like the Stampede is more fun when enjoyed with friends... We were in that area about 3 years ago and had so much fun... Did you go to the Apple Barn to eat yet? It is a fun experience. Have a good time & travel safe!
