New Year's Eve was not a big deal for us. We were in bed by 10:00. My Verizon cell phone service is not working at the campground. I like calling family and friends on New Year's Eve and could not do that.
We are all settled in and getting familiar with everything here. Today we went to Maryville to do some shopping. They have everything in Maryville, Super Walmart, Target, Food Lion and so much more. TC was very happy to find a Blockbuster. Maryville is only 18 miles away and getting there is easy.
We are in a beautiful place. There is a river called "The Little River" that runs through the campground. The Little River is a river that people love to go tubing in. I'm told that we rent tubes here at the campground store. I have so much to learn.
Today was a nice sunny day and not so cold. The cold weather is coming, with highs in the upper 20's and lows in the teens. Judi, the manager told me that these cold temperatures are very unusual. Hopefully spring will be here soon.
