We are at the Dixie Caverns in Salem Virginia. We had a late start. When we tried to put the "slide out" in, it wouldn't move. TC had to go up on the roof to see what the problem was. It turned out to be ice. With all of the snow and rain we had, it formed a puddle and froze. It was quite a mess. Anyway TC got rid of the ice and we were ready to go. After being on the road for about an hour, we noticed that the batteries were not keeping a charge. TC thinks the little generator in the motor is not working. We had to run our house generator for the trip. This campground is not the best, it is a small campground. I guess people with RV's like it because they have a place to park while they visit the caverns. The campground does has great Internet and cable TV. Tomorrow afternoon we should be in Townsend Tennessee.
