Lake Robertson!

Lake Robertson, is named after the late Senator Robertson. The 581 acre tract located 14 miles west of Lexington, Virginia on the eastern slopes of the Alleghany Mountains, is surrounded by an abundance of wildlife in a beautiful, quiet, natural environment. It is close to the Thomas Jefferson and George Washington National Forests and is near to the Goshen Wildlife Refuge Management Area. Nearby are Natural Bridge, Goshen Pass, and the birthplaces of Sam Houston and Woodrow Wilson.

Jodie and I had a great time walking the trails around the lake. This is another beautiful place in Virginia. We will be back to visit the lake and do more walking.
