In the Northern hemisphere, based on astronomical definition, summer begins on the day of the June solstice, which is at 1:45 A.M. eastern daylight time on June 21, 2009. But it sure feels like summer to me. The days are getting hotter, but the nights are still cool and comfortable. We are able to sleep with the windows open. We finally had a few days without rain, however now we have to water. After playing and running around in this warm weather, Jodie loves to relax. She sure has a good life for a dog! Just a bit spoiled don't you think? Thank God, she doesn't snore.
