How hot is it?
Any breeze feels like a dog's breath. You could make a chicken fry on the sidewalk. Nobody laughs at Speedos! A cloud is cheered! Birds have to use potholders to pull worms out of the ground!
OK, enough of the heat jokes, it is dangerously hot.
The temperature is going to be in the triple digits. By the middle of next week, The National Weather service expects the heat index to hold values over 110 degrees Fahrenheit, leaving states ranging from Texas to Canada under an excessive heat warning.
Thank goodness we have AC and a pool. We will be spending the day in the pool or inside. Lily and Jodie are happy to stay inside and watch the world go by.
