A Very Wet Begining!

After all of the work everyone has done, cutting the grass, filling pot holes with gravel and so much more, we had a HORRIFIC thunder storm with hail, tornado warnings and downpours! YUCK! The mud was drying up so nice now it's back to muddy sites on the creek. All of our campsites are reserved for this holiday weekend. It looks like some of the sites will be wet. Oh well it is camping. When camping one will have to deal with the weather and insects. Did I mention we now have mosquitoes? Stink bugs and mosquitoes, what a life!
John and Judi had an employee meeting last night.  We talked about the holiday weekend, the pool being open and how to make our campers happy.  They are the best cooks. The served up chicken, ribs, potato salad, baked beans, and so much more. We all had a good time talking, laughing and eating. No one left hungry!

I'm sure the park will be hopping this weekend, regardless of the weather! :)

That is why we do like camping, we are RVers. But many folks love camping, especially when they have been cooped up for months with snow!

Enjoy your Memorial Weekend!

The CG we are working at had to close -- The Corp released water to help alleviate flooding and it flooded the park. We all had to move to higher ground...not sure when we will be allowed to return. Hope you enjoy the weekend!

It's always good to have a good relationship with the "boss." Sounds like the season is getting off to a good start in that area.
