Our new kitty, Lily has been hiding under the couch. I hope she will get use to her new home. I can coax her out with some food. When she comes out, she is very loving and purrs a lot.

Raining Elephants And Whales!
Man oh man is it raining out. It is raining sideways and all kinds of ways. I think we might be flooded in tomorrow. We have a lot of campers coming in to dodge this rain.
Our new kitty, Lily has been hiding under the couch. I hope she will get use to her new home. I can coax her out with some food. When she comes out, she is very loving and purrs a lot.

Apparently you took the lovely pictures before the rain.
Rain, rain go away!! Hope the new kitty starts feeling more comfortable soon. We used to have a cat named Lily when the kids were little. That cat was a pistol and even made friends with the injured Jay bird we rescued and raised.
I'd love to take half your rain away and bring it here. We are so dry it is dangerous. Feast or famine, right?
Lilly will be fine. It always takes a few days to settle in. And some cats just like to be in a "safe" place. Happiness to you all!
