Under Pressure!

Working a Commission job can be difficult at times. I’m expected to so make so many online orders and have so many sales here in the store. We are also encouraged to open some charge accounts (I'm sure I have goals to make for that also). Usually I do pretty good at all of this stuff. It depends on my hours. I worked today, but only for a few hours in the afternoon. Sunday’s have been my big day to get started on making my goals. We have weekly goals. Today wasn’t as busy as it usually is. We also had more people working because of the holiday weekend ( President's Day is tomorrow).  I love working at the mall and hope everything works out OK. Now that I think about it, it seems to me that life is all about selling yourself. I'm really bummed out about that.......

Pressure, pressure, pressure......
Will I be fired if I don't meet my goals?

The nice thing about  working for a few hours on a Sunday is being able to come home and  cook a nice Sunday dinner.  We had beef stroganoff, tossed salad and some toasted French bread.  I call that comfort food.  Comfort food is not always good for you, beef stroganoff  has too many calories and way too much fat.  Sometimes we all need a little bit of comfort food. When the weather is nice, I do enough walking to burn off some of those horrible calories.

The nasty wind has finally died down. Mister Winter is going to show his nasty ugly face once again.  We might have some snow on Tuesday. Hurry up Spring!!!! The first day of Spring is only 28 days away, but who's counting.....

We have been fortunate here lately....beautiful spring-like weather. The temps have stayed around 70. We can certainly live with that.

I am sure you are doing great with your sales. I would love a friendly, upbeat person to wait on me any day!!

Your dinner sounds delicious. Sometimes comfort food is just what we need to help take away the stress. Have a good week and stay warm!!

I'm counting! Got my flip flops out and rub on tan nearby.
Comfort food is definately a necessity for survival sometimes!

Glad the miserable winds have died down, I think they are an RV'ers worst nightmare.

Good luck in reaching your goals!

I worked on commission for a few years, and I liked it, but had a salary to fall back on. And, my Aunt and Uncle owned the store.
