The Train Station!

I went to visit with my mom today. Gerry's (my sister's fiancee) family had an open house.  They had their house decorated so nice for Christmas. In the basement, Gerry's father has a huge model train garden set up. This is by far the biggest train garden I've ever seen.  Gerry's father, Skip made most of the buildings and other stuff you see in the train garden. There is so much to look at with all of the lights and sounds, it was absolutely amazing.

Gerry's parents had the most beautiful tree. The tree is decorated with an assortment of antique balls and the old fashion screw in lights.

I had a nice visit with my mom and we all had a great time at the open house.

I have been a little under the weather the past few days with a terrible head cold. I'm praying lots of rest will make it go away.

I've always loved looking at model train setups, but unlike Sam, don't care for the real life versions. :) Chicken soup and a hot toddy might help your cold. :)

My older brother has always been a big train fan. Had them as a kid and again for years as an old retired man!
