New Jobs, Tests And Training!

It has been a very busy week. I did get that job at Penneys, I start working at the Penneys in Martinsburg WV this week.   My criminal background check came back and everything is fine.   It took so long because of all of the workamping jobs I have had. I'm finished with most of my training and passed my test with flying colors!  Martinsburg WV is about a forty five minute drive from here.  We are thinking about staying at a campground there for the winter so I won't have so far to drive.
Turkey day is almost here and both TC and I will be working. TC is helping to winterize the campground here and one in Falling Waters WV. Penneys is not open on Thanksgiving, I will be doing office chores. It's great that we both have jobs, they are out there, if you really want one.  We had hoped to spend time with family for turkey day, but we will have to wait until sometime during Christmas holidays.

It has been a great week, the weather is absolutely gorgeous. The days are sunny and in the mid 50's and it is good cool sleeping weather at night.

Congratulations on getting the job at Penney's, Gail. As you said, jobs are out there, but sometimes you have to go the extra mile to get the job.

I'm glad to hear you acknowledge that there are jobs "if you want one." Maybe we are to dependent on extended unemployment payments for some who are laid off. (Just a thought, no criticism of those who are collecting it.)
