The Chili Cook off Party In Bowie MD!

Sunday I went to be the "Guest Judge" for Michelle's (my daughter)  chili cook off party.

Chili Cook off - Corn hole Tournament - Beer exchange - Football Party!!

Chili Cook off- Bring your best homemade pot of chili!! Special Guest Judge & Prizes will be given!

Beer Exchange- Bring something new to try as we all may find another beer we really enjoy!

Cornhole Tournament- Come test your skills against the pro's :)

And of course, the best day to have such a wonderful event - Football Sunday!!

I had 4 different kinds of chili to test. I didn't know whose chili I was testing. Michelle would bring it in a bowl marked A,B,C or D. She had great prizes. For the hottest chili, the winner received a gift certificate to the Cold Stone Creamery and a bottle of water. For the best chili the winner received a gift certificate to Chili's restaurant. She had wonderful prizes for everyone.

Robbie, won the hottest, Leah is runner up, Melissa won the best and poor Connie, her chili needs help.

 Cornhole or Corn Toss is similar to horseshoes except you use wooden boxes called cornhole platforms and corn bags (bags filled with dried corn)  instead of horseshoes and metal stakes. Contestants take turns pitching their corn bags at the cornhole platform until a contestant reaches the score of 21 points. A corn bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point.

 Michelle put on a great party. Everyone had a wonderful time. I always have a good time with Michelle and Robbie and their friends.

Michelle and Scott have a beautiful home. I stayed the night in their comfy guest room and slept like a baby.



Go Ravens

One of the  best things about the party.........the Ravens beat the Miami Dolphins 26 -10!
