A Little Bit Of Storm Damage!

The rain has finally stopped and the sun is out!  We have some branches down and leaves everywhere.  We only had one tree fall. TC, Sherri and I were sitting outside drinking some wine when we heard a huge bang!  Thank God  tree didn't hit anything, we usually have cars parked there.

this tree was already dead
The creek didn't flood, but it filled up and looks more like a river. There are some flooded roads in town and lots of trees down. Some people lost power. We are all glad the storm is over.

We are getting ready for a busy weekend. This weekend we have family movies, magic shows, a parade and trick or treating, gingerbread haunted house making, pumpkin carving, arts and crafts, Halloween pinata fun, the haunted house and so much more. Sounds like fun, don't you think?

We were supposed have the day off. We were asked to work because some of our co-workers can't make it in. TC will be parking the hunted house traffic and I'm working in the diner.

Thank God that tree didn't hit anything. Those skies sure look ominous though. Stay safe and have fun with all the kiddies this week end.

Gail,
How many hours do you normally work each week? Do you get paid for all of them, or do some hours cover your site and utilities? Inquiring minds want to know. :)

Judy, we are getting paid for every hour that we work at this campground. Most other campgrounds that we worked, we had to work 10 hours each (20 per couple) for our site. We love our job and we have a wonderful site.

Glad to see that big tree didn't hit anything when it fell.

Good to see you guys are unharmed by the storm, we get a few of those each year, and Sam has to get the chain saw and tractor out and clean up.Be safe out there and have a cocktail for us, Sam & Donna.

So glad that tree didn't hit anything or anybody. Storms are still scary things to me in an RV....especially lots of wind or rain (flooding). So....glad you are ok.
Have fun this weekend!!
