Lights Camera Action!

Today was a very unusual day for me. A group of people from the  AARP magazine wanted to do a story about full time RV'ers and workampers. They called me and asked if they could come to the campground and interview me and TC. The owners, John and Judi were excited about a someone doing an interview here at the campground. I told them to come on out.

I didn't realize that they would be filming with all of the fancy lights and stuff. I had a wireless microphone pinned on me. They filmed me answering questions right here in my motor home. They told me to act natural, I tried my best.

After filming in the motor home they wanted TC and I to go down by the creek and filmed the both of us answering questions. They followed TC around while he was delivering firewood and escorting campers to their sites. After all of the outside filming they followed me to the diner and filmed me making pizzas and waiting on customers. Wow, is that exciting or what.

I'm not sure when this is going to air, but they said it would be sometime in January. I'm supposed to get an email telling me when it is going to be on TV.

The campground is very busy and everyone is having a blast.

WOW! So now that you're TV stars, will you associate with us lowly people any more? :)

How in the heck do you act 'natural' with a mike pinned on you and lights glaring! Anyway, I'll be voting to award you an 'Emmy' when this airs!

Congrats! A star is born!

Congrats on your stardom! Can't wait to see it and y'all are perfect for shining the light on fulltimers and workampers! (I was a guest on the Oprah show and I know how that feels to be told to act natural when the lights and cameras are staring at you!) Blessings! Kathy
