Families are like fudge - mostly sweet with a few nuts!

I took today off so mom and I could go to the family reunion.  I really had a good time and saw cousins I haven't seen for a few years. It is always nice to get together.
Our family reunion is held at the  Rambling Pines campground in Woodbine MD.  This is a very nice campground, that my relatives own. We stayed here last year for the month of December so we could be close to our family for the holidays.

Family reunions are a great place to show off the children, the grandchildren, eat and meet new boyfriends or girlfriends.

We were so happy to have rain. It rained all night long and we had some rain showers early in the morning.  On the drive back to Hagerstown, I saw some of the leaves changing colors.  I don't know if we will get the beautiful colors we usually get due to the dry conditions. I love the colors of fall.

When you look at your life, the greatest happinesses are family happinesses. I love my family and I'm so blessed.

Thanks for reading, life is good..........

I like your title! Are you sweet, or a nut? :)

So true....family is the most important thing to Mike and I. We choose NOT to travel and be gone for 5 to 6 months or more. We discovered early in our full-time lifestyle that we WANTED to return to Stephen more often than we had originally thought we would. You don't know how things will go until you actually get out here and begin. That is what I call the "rhythm" of travel. Everybody is different and have different circumstances. It is not one size fits all.
Your family looks like a wonderful group of folks. Quite large in comparison to ours! I bet you all have lots of fun whenever you are together. I am glad you all enjoyed and I bet your mom did too. :-)
