The Last Days Of Summer!

We are getting ready for the weekend, it seems that everyone is trying to fit in their camping vacations before the summer ends. I'm busy in the office answering the phones and taking reservations for Friday and Saturday night. Next weekend (Labor Day) we are completely full.
These guys camp here for free

When I'm not answering the phones or waiting on customers, I put together packets for all of our campers. We give them a brochure with their site number and a site map, rules and regulations, information about our campground, a car tag, menus for the diner, the Internet code, our activities for the weekend and some information on Hagerstown. We give these packets to all of the campers when they check in.

Jodie and I always see these guys when we go on our morning walk

The weather has been beautiful, the humidity is gone, the sun is out and there is a nice gentle breeze. It is so nice to spend evenings outside by the campfire, a week ago it was a bit too toasty out for that. This weekend is supposed to be a gorgeous weekend. It looks like a great weekend to sell firewood.

Thanks for reading, life is good.................

It seems when the kiddies return to school things really get quiet!! I bet you all will be soooooo busy during Labor Day. I suppose you all have lots of fun activities planned for your campers (as always)!!!

The weather here is getting better. The humidity is lower and that really helps!!

Take care!

I sure wish I could buy firewood from you guys! The last time we bought it, they sold us wood that wouldn't burn. I think Jonathan said it was freshly cut or something. Boo hiss! No toasted marshmallows for me!

Things should really be hopping over Labor Day as everyone tries to get in one more holiday campout! :)
