I'm So Glad It's Sunday!

Wow, it has been a crazy weekend! I told you about the group that rented all of our cabins in an earlier post: The grandmother of this group rented all of the cabins. Maybe sort of like a family reunion? The children ran around with no supervision and had very little manners. The young adults were very rude. Things were broken and missing. People in the group thought that the diner served "free" food. I guess you all get my point. Very frustrating. Now I know why some people drink on the job (not me, I wait until I'm home and enjoy my wine). This campground is a great place, we just had a few bad seeds in for the weekend. They all leave today and things will go back to normal.

Yesterday was a long one for me, I worked 9 hours and today I'm doing the same thing. The other "workampers" had to go back to Ohio for a few days. We had a lot of "walk-in's" (people without reservations) yesterday, that's very unusual for a Saturday. We only had a few tent sites left to rent. It has been so hot and humid out, not many people are tent camping. This heat is really unbearable, shoveling snow is starting to sound good!

When I go home today, I'm going to stuff that big zucchini and cook it on the grill. The stuffed zucchini and some grilled corn will make a great dinner. I can't wait for a few days off, I think I need a big nap!

Now you know why some animals eat their young. Some people think it's all about me.

Take a few days off and get a good rest..

We can so relate! Some weekends bring great campers all doing what they are suppose to do and allowing everyone (including us) to have a good weekend and some weekends bring in the crazy folks that indeed think its "all about me." Some weekends its good to see the big Hoover suck them out.
Get some rest and enjoy a few days off and regroup for next weekend. :) A nice glass of wine sounds great to me!!

It seems like it takes just one 'bad apple' to ruin a whole day! We own a small motel/bed and breakfast in northern Michigan. We have met some very interesting and nice people, but last weekend we had a real 'stinker' in... and that's when we question WHY we choose to deal with people. But all in all the majority of people are good, kind and considerate. Its just those stinkers that get your attention! Enjoy your blog.
