I'm trying to enjoy the time off that I have. Next week our hours change, we will be open from 9:00 until 5:00. Jodie and I have been walking the trails every chance that we get. Having a 3 hour lunch break gives me plenty of daylight hours to get in some good walks. It won't be long until we can set the clocks forward for daylight savings time. I love daylight savings time, I love the extra hour of sunlight in the evening. The weather has been a downer, always raining, snowing or sleeting and it has been so cold. The weather man is calling for a much warmer weekend, maybe winter is almost over.
I like Rita, the new workamper working in the office, she worked here last year. It's nice to have someone to talk to. Rita and her husband Joe have a little Chihuahua, his name is "Buddy". Buddy finds the weather a bit too cold and has to wear a turtleneck sweater, he is so cute. I need to snap a few pictures of Buddy. I don't know what days we have off this week, I'm still waiting for the schedule. I'm thinking with the new workampers here, our days off may have changed. As soon as I know what days we have off, I will make plans for sightseeing. I'm still trying to talk TC into going to Cherokee, maybe if I remind him about the casino he will get excited about going.
