A New Discovery!

Jodie and I discovered the Little Tennessee River walking trail. The trail is only a 10 minute drive from the campground. It is a nice walking trail, all of it is paved or gravelled. We walked across a covered bridge called the Nonah Bridge and an iron bridge called the Nickajack Bridge. The entire trail goes along the Little Tennessee River. Jodie and I walked for about 3 miles, the trail goes on forever. We met a lot of people, walking their dogs, riding bikes and jogging. We really enjoyed this trail and will go many times a week.

The Little Tennessee River Greenway is one of more than a thousand such trails snaking their way across America turning old canals, abandoned railbeds and forgotten riverbanks into green recreational corridors.
