Not much going on here in Franklin, NC for the Memorial Day Holiday weekend. It has been very quiet. Last Memorial Day we were in Gettysburg PA, working at the Gettysburg KOA (a great place). The Gettysburg KOA was always busy on the holiday weekends. Before being in Gettysburg PA, we were living in Mexico, no celebration in Mexico for Memorial Day. I always miss Chestertown MD this time of year. Celebrating colonial resistance to British rule, Chestertown, on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, always holds its Annual Tea Party on the Memorial Day Weekend. I always had a great time in Chestertown celebrating Memorial Day (I miss living in Chestertown, a great place) ! Happy Memorial Day to everyone!
