My brother had to go to the Baltimore Hospital today to get back surgery. Finally at 12:30 I received a call from my sister and she told me that everything is OK. Whew, I'm glad I got that call. He will be on the mend for about 6 - 8 weeks.

Mr. Summer came back to see us today, it was stinking hot with temps in the high 90's. The humidity is so thick you could cut it with a knife. This heat is making everyone miserable and cranky.
I worked in the store tonight and it was very slow. We don't get many slow days, I prefer to be busy. We do have a TV in the store, and I can always find something to clean, still the time just dragged. Every time I looked at the clock only a few minutes had gone by. I just wanted to go home, cool off in the shower and go to bed. Tomorrow will be a better day.

I believe it is the heat....it just zaps your energy! Hang in there, one day soon it will cool off.
We certainly weren't busy this past weekend. We only had about 20% occupancy. Slow, very slow.

Sorry, I hit the post button and forgot to mention your brother. I am so glad his surgery went well and will keep him in our prayers for continued improvement with his back.
