Yesterday we had some nasty storms. We didn't have that much rain, thunder or lighting but we had a lot of wind. The campers had to put their awnings up and anchor everything down. We had a lot of branches down and lost our electric for over 5 hours.
I had to work in the office with no computers, phones or lights. Most of the campers were very nice, but we had some of the cranky ones complaining about the heat and having no AC, cable TV or Internet. Oh no, what will we do? When our electric is out we also have no water, we have a well and need electric to run the pump. We always keep some water in our fresh water tank just in case something like this happens. Most of the people camping here didn't have any water in their tanks. That's crazy!
TC turned on our generator so we could run the AC because Jodie was inside. The generator ran just fine but our AC didn't come on. We need to figure out what the problem is. I like knowing that we are self contained.
It would be so nice to have a rainy day without the thunder, lighting or the wind.
That's Josh and Justin in the picture.

I really hate the wind in an RV. We actually had one time we had to pull in the slide to prevent the slide toppers from ripping off. The entire coach was shaking. Scared me to death.
I'm with you....we need a little rain but no thunderstorms or wind. Glad you all are ok and there was no damage. That is what is important.
Take care,

I hate hail storms even more than wind! It's reassuring to be prepared. Too bad your AC didn't work. :(
